Was born in Moscow in 1976. He graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire having studied with K.Rodin (cello), T.Gaydamovich, A.Bonduryansky (chamber ensemble).

1996-2005 – a member of the Academ Trio (together with Yakov Katznelson and Irina Petukhova). Within the ensemble he became a 2nd prize winner of the Russian Taneev Competition and XX International Competition in Trapani (Italy.

From 1999 to 2002 he was an orchestra artist of the Mariinsky Theatre.

Since 2003 he has been an orchestra artist of Bolshoy Theatre and in 2007 he became a soloist of the orchestra. He is also a producer of a serie of chamber music concerts in Bethoven Hall of the Bolshoy Theatre.

He is a founder of the first Russian website on academic music – Moscow Music  Bulletin (1997)

He is a creator of the first website of the International Tchaikovsky Competition (1998)

Boris is a founder of the biggest classical music portal – Classica Forum (2002)

He is an author of a book called “Internet for a musician” (2005)

He owns a portal ClassicalMusicNews.Ru (since 2006)
